Halo: Gray Team FAQ!

Posted by TheSin - January 13th, 2010

I know there's a lot of people (or some people ;p) with many questions about Halo: Gray Team, if i'm following the Halo Universe rules or not, about the Spartan Gray Team and the The Schism time line.

Everything is going to be answered:

Q: Why The Spartan Gray Team is droped in High Charity?
A: Well, we all know, or all who have read the Halo books or atleast "The Cole protocol", the Gray Team is sent behind enemy lines to create chaos and confusion between Covenant lines. Officially by the UNSC the Gray Team was considered M.I.A. in the year 2551 because they were unreachable, (maybe to distance circuntances), so i came to the idea to give a new task to the Gray Team reaching High Charity.

Q: Why is Cortana in the Covenant Network and not with the M.C.?
A: That will be answered in further episodes (sorry :p).

Q: Why Adriana doesn't have that "Slavic Accent" discribed in the Halo books?
A: Her ancestral descent is possibly Russian due to the fact she had a Slavic accent. Adriana was abducted when she was 6 years old, but she is still said to have an accent. Any typically developing child that has been exposed to the same environment as the Spartans from the age of 6 would not be likely to have an accent. Even if the Gray team had been exposed to different environments, Jai and Mike would also have an accent, which they don't. Therefore, Adriana's accent is probably an error on the part of the authors. The accent could also have been a conscious choice on her part. Her renegade nature would make this seem more likely. <--Halopedia info. Still i found it unlikely.

Q: Is this flash animation a non cannon Halo story?
A: I've followed all the Halouniverse rules, trying not to break one, at the end of the episode you'll see clearly a Specops Elite side by side of the Gray Team, if you read the Halo books before, you'll find that there are several Elites who value Humans as "Noble and great warriors", as well as Elites human haters. And since a Specops who has access to classified info he might have found something interesting about the humans. So i don't find my animation a Non cannon, i find possible that there are Elites in the middle of the Great Schism who would join the humans.

So far this are all the questions i can answer, the new episodes will answer more of your questions by themself and will also create more questions too, i hope.

Thanks for reading!
See ya next time!!!

No matter how accurate you think your animation series may be, it is in no way, shape or form canon. Nor should it ever be considered canon, and nor should you try to reason that it is or could be. That is very misleading. You did not create the Halo universe, you are only a fan who is trying to deliver a fanfic.

It cannot be canon because i'm not the owner of the Halo franchise, all i said was, i'm trying to follow all the Halo universe rules to make it as close as the real Halo universe.

This is just a fanfic and a theory of what could have had happened to the Gray Team.

I am rather impressed by your grand knowledge of the Halo universe, and look forward to what you have planned.
